Stainless steel is a metal that has demand in several different industries and applications. The purpose of Stainless steel grades also depends on their nature. They are available as austenitic, ferritic, martensitic, and duplex stees. The constant fact among all these steels is the presence of a good amount of chromium which makes stainless steel different from other metals with high amounts of iron and carbon. Stainless steel 304 Forged Fittings have chromium amounts between 16% and 24%. The austenitic 300 series of stainless steel includes the alloy stainless steel 304 forged fittings. It is used in many applications, like frying pans and kitchen appliances. The composition of stainless steel grades 300 and 304 L is identical, although grade 300 has a maximum carbon concentration of 0.08 percent, while grade 304L has a carbon level of 0.03 percent. To prevent alloy contamination, producing stainless steel 304 forged fittings is necessary. Withstanding oxidation up to 870 ℃ is stainless steel 304.

In various media, stainless steel 304 tube has a modest resistance to corrosion. It has less electrical and thermal conductivity than other carbon-based steels.
