These sheets are relatively simple to shape and weld. To use it effectively, even normal shop fabrication procedures are sufficient. The carbon content of the plate typically satisfies the requirements for both the 310 and 310S. The increased creep qualities are caused by the high carbon content. However, these sheets are more corrosion-resistant than other heat-resistant alloys because they include a significant percentage of chromium. SS 310/310S Sheet/ Plate are used in thermal cycling, cementing, and mild oxidizing applications. However, they demand a decrease in the ideal serving temperature. These plates are frequently used in cryogenic applications. However, they have poor magnetic permeability.
Where are SS 310/310S Sheets/Plates used?
Radiant tubes and fluid-based bed combustors frequently employ stainless steel 310/310S sheet plates. SS 310/310S Sheet/ Plate are utilized by several industries for the interior parts of coal gasifiers, steam boilers, and petroleum refining units. These are used in lead pots, refractory anchor bolts, burners, and combustion chambers by several heavy machinery manufacturing enterprises. These are appropriate for use in muffles, annealing covers, food processing equipment, cryogenic structures, etc., because of their mechanical qualities.
